Usain Bolt podpisał kontrakt z australijskim klubem piłkarskim Central Coast Mariners. Legendarny jamajski sprinter jest coraz bliżej spełnienia swojego wielkiego marzenia.

W 2017 roku Usain Bolt zakończył karierę lekkoatletyczną i zapowiedział, że teraz zamierza spróbować sił w piłce nożnej. W przeszłości trenował z Borussią Dortmund, południowoafrykańskim Mamelodi Sundowns oraz norweskim Stromsgodset, ale mało kto uważał, że to coś więcej niż tylko marketingowe zagrywki. Bolt twardo jednak dąży do wytyczonego celu i dla jego osiągnięcia przeprowadził się do Australii. Tam 32-letni emerytowany już sprinter podpisał bezterminowy kontrakt z Central Coast Mariners, który występuje w australijskiej ekstraklasie. Wedle umowy Jamajczyk może trenować z pierwszym zespołem, ale bez gwarancji występów w oficjalnych meczach. Pierwszy trening Jamajczyka z nową drużyną ma odbyć się 18 sierpnia.
